Het ruwe stalen U-profiel, ook wel UPN of U-balk genoemd, is een essentieel structureel element in de staalconstructie. De U-vormige doorsnede biedt uitzonderlijke stijfheid terwijl het relatief licht blijft ten opzichte van zijn draagvermogen.

Dit profiel is ideaal voor het maken van frames, structurele verstevigingen, zware lastdragers, chassis of metalen frames. Het wordt veel gebruikt in de bouw, industriële mechanica, carrosseriebouw en renovatieprojecten.

Gebruik & behandeling

Ruw staal is gemakkelijk te lassen, te boren en kan warm worden gebogen. Voor buitengebruik raden we roestwerende verf of verzinken aan. Regelmatig onderhoud voorkomt corrosie en verlengt de levensduur.
